Our charming stone built cottage dates back to the 17th century, when originally a coaching inn, and is in fact the oldest house in the beautiful village of Betws-y-coed. We have retained a traditional look throughout the property, featuring exposed beams and inglenook fireplace but also remaining light and airy throughout.
We are ideally located, just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the village and provide an ideal holiday base all year round.

Bedrooms
Bodlondeb has a total of five spacious bedrooms which provide the facility to sleep upto 13 people, with the possibility of pull out beds for any additional requirement.
Four of our bedrooms can be found on the first floor, consisting of two double en-suite rooms, one standard double, and a triple room alongside a shared bathroom.
A further twin bedroom can be found on the ground floor.
Bedroom 1 – En-Suite Double
The window faces south east therefore the room benefits from the morning sun.
Bedroom 2 – Standard Double
The window overlooks the rock face bordering the garden and faces west and therefore benefits from the evening sun.
Bedroom 3 – En-Suite Double
The room has an en-suite bathroom with basin, toilet and a bath with shower over.
The room is light and airy with a vaulted ceiling having two velux windows.
There is a large window overlooking the rear garden and a glass door allowing access to the garden in good weather.
Bedroom 4 – Triple (One Double & One Single)
The room has a view over to the river across an open grazing field opposite the property.
Bedroom 5 – Groundfloor Twin
The room has a feature inglenook style fireplace inset with a floral display.
There is a bathroom with shower, toilet and basin adjoining the room accessed through the dining room.
This room would also be suitable for the infirm or elderly avoiding the stairs and with easy access to the bathroom.
The shower has a low 1 inch step and a wide access to facilitate an easy entry.
The room enjoys the same view to the river as room 4 but from ground level.

Living Space
Here at Bodlondeb we aim to cater for all of your group requirements, with our ground floor living area providing a large selection of amenities.
We have a large lounge area with flatscreen TV and character electric fire.
Our country kitchen has ample workspace, a breakfast table and all necessary appliances as would be expected. This kitchen backs onto a large communal dining room, whilst there is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in the entrance hall area of the cottage.

Outdoor Living – The Garden at Bodlondeb
What better way to spend your evenings than in the peaceful tranquility of the garden at Bodlondeb.
To the rear of the property our elevated garden offers the perfect place to sit with a glass of wine, or to relax whilst cooking a barbeque on the decking.
With its south-east facing aspect, the garden at Bodlondeb enjoys sunlight from early morning and throughout the day and provides a totally private area for our guests to relax.
Please note: the garden is at 1st floor level and is accessed by gently rising steps from the kitchen/porch.
Due to the natural terrain of the garden it is unsuitable for ball games and pitching of tents
There are natural slate steps and dry stone walls. Care should be taken in wet and cold weather as the steps can be slippery.
The garden is elevated at 1st floor level and there are natural rock faces and steep elevations.
Due to health & safety considerations can we ask that children do not climb on the rocks or dry stone walls, and are supervised by an adult when in the garden.
